Getting sued is becoming more and more likely according to recently published government statistics. The administrative offices of the United States Courts recently reported that the filing of lawsuits is on the rise. Increasing 12% over previous years!

The largest portion of the lawsuits were for civil rights violations. Many of these lawsuits involve a litigant's company employer. Counted too were disputes over contracts, often involving not one but two companies.

In light of increasing lawsuits, a company would be well advised to review its legals risks regarding the prospect of litigation, more now than in years past.
